I am a highly motivated and committed individual who sees myself as not only a designer or an aspiring architect, but a student of my surroundings.

 

       I have completed bachelor degree in Architecture Studies at the University of Kerala, College of Engineering, Trivandrum and obtained Class 1 honours. During my graduation days too, I undertook a variety of architectural projects, including an Urban design intervention at Lal Bazar - B B Ganguly street, Kolkata, which was challenging enough. I can declare with pride that I am a national level prize winner of Kannur Airport Design competition, organized in association with the Airport Authority of India. This involved concept development, design planning, converting them into graphics and presentations to the jury. My undergraduate dissertation ‘Architectural Pedagogy – an ideal design studio’ explored my fascination in the field of architecture. I have likewise had the great opportunity to travel both independently and as a student to various parts of the country and along these lines exploring the various phases of architecture across time and history.

 

           It was my privilege to have done my architectural training for a period of six months with Gulf House Engineering, Bahrain, which is another leading architectural consultancy in the island. I am presently working in Aref Sadeq Design Consultancy, Bahrain as Junior Architect. It is an esteemed architectural firm in the country and I have been developing my architectural designing experience ever since I joined the firm. It has given me the opportunity to explore a number of new arenas and also has enhanced my capability to perform and convey different projects successfully. My range of work in the region includes concept design, detailed working drawings, multimedia presentations using various CAD techniques, presentation to the client and also site visits to keep an eye on the construction quality and correctness. It gave me an opportunity to get involved in a variety of ventures ranging from villas, shopping centres, malls, apartment buildings, high rise developments etc. I have also acquired knowledge in many software such as Revit architecture 2014, Autocad architecture ,Sketchup, Lumion,  etc.

        My verbal communication skills are excellent, demonstrated by my experience as group leader in many projects in my college. I had the privilege of representing my college as the General Secretary during my tenure in the NASA, National Association of Student Architects.

 

          Through this and my other work experience, I have developed numerous skills needed for the part of an Architect. I have likewise made myself tough enough to attempt multiple undertakings and complete it effectively before the due date. I am very much passionate about my work and I always find myself pushing forward to untie my full potential. I look forward to master myself in the field and build the profundities.
